Cost and Inventory Manager in Cranston, RI

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an Inventory and Fixed Asset Analyst for a company in the greater Providence Area. Our client is looking to get someone started ASAP for a contract to permanent opportunity.The Analyst is responsible for month-end closing, to include inventory change and cost of goods sold.Also responsible for fixed asset management of book and tax software related to the budgeting process, month end entries, preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and property tax filings.Budget preparation skills are a must, along with working with Retail POS systems as it relates to inventory in order to provide KPI analysis to senior management.Strong communication and analytical skills on inventory control and compliance.
